Rental Information
Over the years, many local, district, and conference United Methodist Church groups have used Mechuwana for retreats and other programs. They have found our unique setting a perfect place to work, reflect, relax, and gather.
The camp is also available for other groups in the spring, fall, and winter. Groups must be "not for profit" and abide by the rules and policies of the camp.
How to register: Reserving space at Mechuwana must be done through the camp office at 207-377-2924. Details about menus, sleeping arrangements, and activities can be worked out at that time. After plans are made, a reservation contract will be sent to you.
Pricing: Prices will vary with the number of persons in your group and the services Mechuwana provides (food, lifeguards, etc.). The cost per person will be provided to you prior to your event!

Food Service: Mechuwana offers complete food service providing both meals and snacks. Groups are encouraged to submit menu requests prior to their arrival. We prefer to provide all the meals for the group. Special menus can be arranged for your event.

Recreational Activities: Mechuwana is located on 230 acres of forestland. Bordering Lower Narrows Pond and Lake Annabessacook in Central Maine, this peaceful setting offers nature trails, a sandy swimming area, and a boat dock with canoes and paddleboats. Basketball courts are available, as well as a large playing field with soccer goals. During the winter months, camp offers a beautiful setting for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, and ice fishing.
