Support Our Ministry
Mechuwana has relied on the faithfulness of donors for more than 70 years! Right now, camp continues to face a serious financial challenge, but we're determined to come out stronger and more secure than we've ever been!

Having a steady income through gifts of $5, $10, $25, or more helps us ensure that Mechuwana and its ministry are around for generations to come.
Please consider joining our monthly giving program.

Become a Sustaining Congregation
Does your church want to help send children to Mechuwana for a week or more each summer? We have a great way for you to make that happen!
In 2017, Mechuwana created the "Sustaining Congregations" program. This program helps support Mechuwana's scholarship program, and all money raised goes directly to Mechuwana.
Although many things have changed in our 70+ years, Mechuwana is still a place grounded in volunteerism and sense of community. A place where all people, young and old can worship God and be themselves,. A place where lifelong friendships are formed. Through all these years it has been the local Maine United Methodist churches that have stood by us.
We ask your church to prayerfully to consider becoming a sustaining congregation
with one of three levels of giving depending on your financial ability: $300, $150, or $75 a year.
