Mechuwana is located on 200 acres of forest
land and offers a peaceful, natural setting. The camp borders Lake Annabessacook
and Lower Narrows Pond. Located on the property are nature trails, boating, and
a swimming area. It also has volleyball courts, basketball hoops and a sports
field.
Each season brings a new life to the camp...in the fall we are amazed at the
colors around the lake; in winter we ski on the trails and have campfires; in
spring we look for the first wildflowers along the road; and in the summer we
come alive with over 1000 campers. We hope you come and enjoy God's
creation in this place called Mechuwana.
It is the purpose of Camp Mechuwana to
complement the local church ministry by providing a unique Christian setting for
persons of all ages for personal growth and experiences which enhance one's
relationship to God, neighbors, and the natural world.
