We would like to thank each of you for your support of Camp Mechuwana. Because of the generosity of thousands of people Mechuwana has flourished for more than 65 years. Mechuwana continues to grow and reach out to people of all ages through our programs and our commitment to provide scholarships to families and individuals who are in need of financial assistance.

The economic reality of our state and country the last few years has forced us to put much of financial resources into scholarships. We turn no camper away for financial reasons. Mechuwana continues to work hard to meet the growing financial need of families.

Generator and New Roof
Our first priority project is replacing the roof on the rec-building and double cabin in the Village with metal. If we can raise enough funds we plan on doing this in the spring.

COST $13,000.00

Our second project is purchasing a backup generator system so that we can run the Commons and Retreat buildings if we lose power. This would allow us to continue run our facilities during the winter and summer even if we lose power. It also safe guards against the loss of food in our walk-ins which could be worth thousands of dollars.

COST $12,000.00

Because we put so much of our financial resources into providing scholarships for campers we could really use some help raising funds for these facility upgrades. As we approach the holiday season and the end of the year we ask that you consider a gift to Mechuwana to help us with the critical facility need.

An Idea for a Gift

Need a gift for someone? Know someone that is hard to buy for? Why not send a donation in someone’s honor? We can send a card to anyone you designate, letting them know that a donation was made in their honor to Mechuwana. We will send the cards to them one week before Christmas letting them know that you sent us a very special gift in their name.

Please send a gift notice to:
