Clynk: A Simple Way to Support Mechuwana's Camp Scholarship Program

Picture
Each summer, our requests for camp scholarship grows. Yet each summer, we find a way to ensure that anyone who wants to come experience Mechuwana for a week gets there. With no campers coming this summer due to COVID-19, the Clynk program is now just as important as ever. Money raised will be used to help youth, through our pandemic feeding program, and through opportunities for youth that will happen once this pandemic is over and camp is back in session.

Did you know that because of your dedication to our ministry, we have never,in more than 70 years, turned away someone from camp for financial reasons?

We want to tell you about one that is as simple as donating five cents at a time.

The Clynk program through Hannaford is an easy way to collect your cans and bottles and donate their returnable fee to Mechuwana's scholarship program. To date, this program has raised more than $25,000 for camp!

Here's how it works:

Mechuwana will supply you with Clynk bags to put your recyclable cans and bottles in. Each bag is prelabeled with our account number. Once the bag is full, return it to your nearest Hannaford supermarket and they will do the rest!

At the end of each quarter Mechuwana gets a check. These cans and bottles add up quickly. To date, Mechuwana has raised more than $25,000 for camp scholarships!

Call (207) 377-2924 or email us at mechuwana@fairpoint.net to request your bags.

Thank you!
