Mechuwana Youth Program
The purpose of the Mechuwana Youth Program is to provide a safe and accepting environment for personal growth. This is achieved through – uniting friends, exchanging ideas, finding unconditional care and support, seeking fellowship with God, and providing an experience to which each person can look forward. 

The rally schedule for the coming year is different than it has been. We will have four youth events plus New Year's Eve. We will have two events for senior high youth only (Grades 9-12) and two events that are for middle school and high school youth (Grades 6-12). Please mark your calendars for the dates below.

Rally Dates for 2010-2011

October 22-24, 2010 - Jr/Sr High Rally
December 10-12, 2010 - Senior High Rally
December 31, 2010-January 1, 2011 - New Year's Eve Semi-formal (Grades 6-12)
February 11-13, 2011 - Jr/Sr High Rally
May 6-8, 2011 - Senior High Rally

RALLIES ROCK! Here's why:

We decided it was time to start a new list of reasons that rallies rock - so send us your reason today to beth@mechuwana.org!  We want to hear from you!

1.  Camp is where everyone knows your name. (Kendra J.)
2.  Camp is where you can be yourself, act like a fool, have a blast, and watch Jarod lose to another dance competition!!! (Courtney C.)
3.  Camp is where you gain the courage to be nothing but yourself, 24/7. (Bailey W.)
4.  Because dragging your mattress up and down the stairs is great exercise. If it's a senior high rally you get to do it twice! (JoJo K.)
5.  So you can hear Stairway to Heaven just one more time! (Rian L.)
6. Rallies rock because rallies are where you can be anything you want to be at anytime and no one thinks any different of you. Also, rallies are like a regrouping of old and new places, it's home. (Ben D.)

8.  Dancing to Total Eclipse of the Heart with Beth and not knowing the words, but not really caring about not knowing the words - and just singing out (LOUDLY) whatever we think the words might be.  (Abby J.).

10.  Rallies are amazing because it gives us people who live in the middle of no
where a chanceto see some of our closest friends. Also gets us away from the stress of the real world for a weekend! (Orre A.)

We have a scholarship fund for the youth program.  The program is in honor of Sabrina Glidden Paine, who passed away in July, 2003.  She wanted no youth to be turned away from rallies or camp for financial reasons.  If you would like to contribute to the fund, please send your donation to:
